New Year's Eve:
'It's been awhile'...well, actually it has. I was in that immortal land of retirement homes and bad driving (aka: Florida) for about a week.
got to see family I hadn't even met and those I hadn't seen in 14 years. it's amazing what that much time will do to a person. I never want to hear "The last time I saw you, you were 'this big'!" again. but, it was jolly good fun, except for the hotel room, and the 22 hour drive (that's just one way). note to self: fly no matter the cost of tickets in the future.
oh, I saw LOTR: Two Towers. excellent movie. 5 stars two opposable thumbs up. :D got an acoustic guitar for christmas, woohoo.
