hats off to the cast and crew of 'splendor in the grass.' they took 3 awards: rachel got honorable mention cast, taylor got all star cast, and kristin got best actress over all. ::cheers:: congrats for advancing to area! my dad and my brother were in a civil war reenactment in fort worth from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm. today i went out to old navel with my maternal unit, and ate at el fenix, only the best mexican restaurant EVER. then we saw 'the hours' at amc 30 and it was quite odd. not what i was expecting at all. it was about 3 women living in different time periods and their lives in one day. very depressing, yet still really good. lots of unexpected kissing between women. an older couple in the theatre got up and left in the middle. i kind of laughed and felt akward at the same time, because it was weird seeing nicole kidman practically make out with her sister. still, worthy of praise, and liberal enough to be recognized by the academy. ciao (oh, i bought the evanescence cd and it rocks my face to a pulp) o.0
